What this site collects
This is mainly a static site. There are no accounts and no proprietary database. If you only browse, we do not keep personal data on our side, apart from the technical hosting logs described below.
On the workshops page you can submit a request with your name, email, company, phone number, number of people, date, time and notes. Submitting opens your email client and sends the request to us; we use these details only to assess and reply to the request on a case-by-case basis.
Three things happen anyway:
- Server logs. The host (Bluehost) records IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser used. It is there for security and for diagnosing faults. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
- Measurement, only if you say yes. If you accept statistics cookies we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and pages viewed. Legal basis: your consent.
- Advertising, only if you say yes. If you accept marketing cookies we use Google Ads and Meta to show SEDE ads to people who have visited the site and to see whether those ads worked. Legal basis: your consent.
Third parties inside the site
- TheFork. The booking box belongs to TheFork (Tripadvisor group). If you book through it, whatever you type goes to them under their privacy policy. We receive the booking.
- Google Maps. The map remains available as a site feature and may send a request to Google when the page loads it.
- Behold. Displays the @sede.porto Instagram posts on the contact page.
Outside the European Union
Google and Meta are US companies and may process data outside the European Union, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long
Your cookie choice is stored for six months in your own browser. After that we ask again. The lifetime of each cookie is listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and you can object to processing. Write to reservations@sede-porto.com. If you think we have not sorted it out, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, cnpd.pt.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above.
